1. Who We Are
Leveled Meetings is a product of Nate-Land Studios LLC, a Texas limited liability company. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service at leveledmeetings.com.
2. Information We Collect
Account information (Speakers). When you create an account via Google OAuth, we receive and store your email address, display name, and profile photo URL. You may also set a custom emoji and bio.
Participant identity (Anonymous users). When you join a session without an account, we store an emoji, display name, and an optional email address if you choose to provide one. Anonymous users are identified by a randomly generated ID, not by personal information.
Session content. We store contributions (comments, replies), reactions, flags, and topic content (uploaded files, markdown) that you create or submit during sessions.
Activity data. We record when you last logged in, when you last used the service, and basic session participation (joined sessions, contribution counts). This is used for analytics and to clean up inactive anonymous accounts.
Payment information. If you purchase credits, payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID to link your account to your payment history. We do not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other payment credentials.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Operate the service: Display your identity to other session participants, deliver your contributions in real time, manage session access and moderation.
- Session exports: Speakers can export session content including your contributions. By participating in a session, you grant the session owner rights to your contributions as described in our Terms of Service (Section 6.3).
- Debugging and support: If something breaks, we may access session data to diagnose and fix the issue.
- Analytics: We use activity data internally to understand usage patterns and improve the product. We do not use third-party analytics trackers.
- Email communications: We only send marketing emails if you have explicitly opted in. Transactional emails (session invites, moderator notifications, export delivery) are sent as part of normal service operation.
4. What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
- We do not use your session content for advertising or marketing.
- We do not share your data with third parties except as required by law, or as necessary to operate the service through our infrastructure providers (see Section 7).
5. Speaker-Configured Email Collection
Speakers may configure their sessions to request or require an email address from participants before joining. When you provide your email in this context, it is collected on behalf of the session speaker. The speaker is solely responsible for how they use your email address, including compliance with applicable anti-spam and privacy laws. Nate-Land Studios LLC is not responsible for how speakers use participant email addresses.
6. Data Retention
- Session content (contributions, reactions, topics) is retained indefinitely to support session exports and historical access.
- Anonymous user records are automatically deleted after 30 days of inactivity.
- Account data is retained as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will delete your account data in a timely manner. Residual copies may persist in backup systems.
- Credit and payment records are retained for accounting and legal compliance purposes.
7. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Leveled Meetings:

8. Cookies and Local Storage
Leveled Meetings does not use tracking cookies. We use browser localStorage to store:
- Your authentication token (JWT)
- Your theme preference
- Your anonymous participant identity (emoji + display name)
No third-party cookies are set.
9. Your Rights
- Access your data: You may request a copy of your account data by contacting us.
- Delete your account: You may request account deletion at any time. We will delete your account data, though contributions made in sessions may persist as part of the session record (owned by the session speaker per our Terms of Service).
- Opt out of marketing: Unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link provided, or contact us directly.
- Data portability: Session exports are available to speakers in CSV and markdown formats.
10. Children
We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
